Bid Day
Meet Jasmine-
The most exciting day of the year! On this day we get to welcome home our newest members. After receiving their bid cards, new members run to the Phi Sigma Sigma home where they are matched with a "bid day buddy" who helps to officially introduce the newest ladies into the chapter. This day is full of celebration and tears - of happiness of course.
The sisters of Phi Sigma Sigma invite you to join Rutgers University's Panhellenic Community! We are looking to recruit women who embody our principles of leadership, service, and sisterhood. Here at Phi Sigma Sigma, we encourage eachother to "Aim High" in all that we do. As sisters, we inspire one another to become the best versions of ourselves - joining a sisterhood like Phi Sigma Sigma will not only provide you with a strong support system, but memories and friendships to last a lifetime. We welcome you to participate in recruitment to find your home, just as we found ours!
Requirements for joining
✦ Must maintain at least a 2.5 GPA, completed 12 credits and be a full time student at Rutgers.
✧ Active membership in 2 other campus organizations is required.
✦ Dues per semester: Out of house sisters = $700, In house sisters = $525
✧ New member dues: $900
✦ Required meal plan: $790 per semester, which includes 5 meals per week.

Hi everyone! My name is Jasmine Balzano and I am the Membership Recruitment Chair of the Gamma Nu Chapter of Phi Sigma Sigma. I am so exited that you are interested in joining the Panhellenic Community here at Rutgers! Becoming a part of a sisterhood is a unique experience that will only make the quality of your college experience more rewarding than before.
I knew that I wanted to be a member of Phi Sigma Sigma after meeting so many amazing women during recruitment – all of which were genuine, enthusiastic, and sincere. Through the years I have watch myself grow tremendously, all thanks to our amazing and supportive sisterhood. At Phi Sigma Sigma, its is our mission to inspire the personal development and individuality of each sister and encourage the advancement of womanhood. We strive to recruit women who will further these principals and aim to positively influence the Gamma Nu chapter.
